WHEN GOD REWRITES THE DAY

There are days when everything is planned—every stop, every appointment, every intention carefully laid out. And then, in a moment, everything changes.

We were supposed to go to Cabanatuan last Wednesday morning. A dear brother lay in the ICU, and we wanted to be there by 10 AM—to pray and to comfort. I was with Bro. Mike, already on my way to our meeting place in Northgate, when suddenly, my car had a problem.

I asked Bro. Mike to come with me to the nearest repair shop. By God’s grace, the repair was done quickly—but not quickly enough. Time had slipped through our fingers. We knew we wouldn’t make it to the ICU’s visiting hours.

Plans changed. I told Mike to go ahead with his schedule, and I stayed behind at our Alabang office since we also had the Feast that evening. We agreed to just reschedule our visit.

At first, there was a quiet disappointment in my heart. You know that feeling when something good doesn’t push through? But the day wasn’t done yet—God was just getting started.

I saw a friend, Brian, for lunch—someone I hadn’t seen in months. What was meant to be a quick catch-up turned into a meaningful reconnection. We talked, laughed, and shared life. Guess what, he agreed to join me at The Feast that evening. Wow! Something unexpected.

And as I left around 2 PM, I felt that gentle nudge: this meeting was not random.

Still, something stirred in me to go back to Northgate earlier than needed. I couldn’t quite explain it—but I followed it.

And there, I saw a familiar face.
At first, I couldn’t recall his name. But when he said, “Radical?”—everything clicked. That instant bond, that unspoken connection among brothers in faith—it was there. He was Bro. Vhal from Feast Cavite.

His smile was different. It wasn’t just friendly—it was radiant. There was a glow, a quiet message in his presence, as if God Himself was whispering to my heart:
“There is a reason for everything.”

In that moment, my disappointment faded. The missed trip, the broken car, the delayed plans—they were all replaced with something else. Something meaningful. Something divine.

God didn’t just cancel the day—He rewrote it. He allowed me to reconnect with Brian. He led me to encounter Vhal at just the right time.

Of course, our hearts continue to pray for our dear Bro. Jude. We believe in healing, in miracles, and in God’s perfect timing. We will see you soon, brother.

Sometimes, when our plans fall apart, it’s not because God is saying “no.”
It’s because He is saying, “I have something else for you today.”

And often, that “something else” is exactly what our soul needed.

God truly works in wondrous ways.
We just need to trust—even in the detours.
