PRAYER OF SURRENDER

By Mike Sanchez
I took this video at the Feast Conference in SMX Convention Center. Feast Alabang District is the Feast in-charge of all break- out classes on leadership and business happening in this room.
Historically, the business and leadership topics are the sessions that had the largest attendees. To be the Feast in charge of this is very intimidating. Brother Oying, as the builder-in-charge, led us to a prayer to surrender.
It was a beautiful prayer of surrender– recognizing that,
– God loves deeper than we can.
– God knows what will truly bring success.
– We are not lowering our standards, but we want to anchor our goals to God’s goals.
Something shifts when we align what we want with what God wants.
There was an undeniable peace. There were few glitches, but the event was a big success!
Friend, surrender is not a weakness; it is courage to trust a wisdom higher than our own. It’s a prayer that says, “Lord, we will give our best, but we trust You with what the result.”
In real life, the outcome of many of our plans and strategies are beyond our control. But the true measure of success is not in the outcome. It’s what you’ve become in the pursuit of your plans.
Reflection: What is that thing, person, or plan that you are having difficulty surrendering to God?
