This is now the second major crisis Iโve lived through in the Middle East. First, it was the pandemic in 2020. Now, it is war, rising tension, and the constant weight of uncertainty.
At first, they seem completely differentโone was a virus that shut down the world, the other is conflict shaking nations and economies. But as I reflect, I feel God showing me a deeper pattern.
The pandemic taught us all that control is an illusion. It slowed life down and forced us to confront our fragility, our fears, and our need for Him. Prayer, patience, and quiet faith became lifelines.
Now, that lesson returns with greater depth. This time, it is not only about surviving uncertainty, but learning how to remain steady within it.
When the world outside feels unstable, God begins building stability within. I never imagined I could learn to live with missile warning alerts and news of injuries or death. Maybe that is what crisis truly does: it reveals the kind of heart God is shaping in us.
I could almost hear Jesus whisper, โ๐น๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ก ๐๐๐ ๐ผ ๐๐ ๐ค๐๐กโ ๐ฆ๐๐ข ๐๐๐ค๐๐ฆ๐ .โ Reminding me once more that true faith is not the absence of fear, but the courage to keep walking with God through darkness, discomfort, and uncertainty.
