Last week we attended @favor.conference
Having attended so many conferences in my lifetime and having served the Lord for 33 years. Participating in conferences was not new to me, from Elimβs Excellence Conference in the early 2000βs, Kerygma Conference in 2007, now Feast Conference, Global Discipleship Conference, just to name a few.
Despite having attended so many conferences, for some reason, I was still excited. I knew God had prepared something special for me.
I learned a lot in those three days. All the plenary speakers were great and inspiring, but my biggest takeaway was not something new, but a heavy reminder. As I worshipped that day felt it. That day I stood in worship before God, not as a builder, a pastor, a disciple-maker, a ministry head, a servant, or a leader. Today I am a son, standing before his Father in Heaven, and that is the most important title I should hold.
My dear friends in the busy world we are in and the many roles that we hold, please remember that in the presence of our Father in heaven, we will always be His child.
