𝘉𝘺: 𝘌𝘭𝘢 𝘛𝘢𝘯
Last January, I stepped onto the plane to Hong Kong with a heart full of excitement… and anxiety. My last visit was in 2019, seven years ago, and this time I was the oldest in our little group, guiding my niece and my son. I felt the weight of responsibility: finances to manage, directions to figure out, transportation to navigate, and most of all, the uncertainty of facing Immigration.
Every worry whispered, What if something goes wrong?
But with every anxious thought, I responded with prayer. Before the trip and throughout each step, from packing our bags to standing in line at the airport, I kept surrendering everything to God. I asked Him to guide our path, calm my fears, and go before us.
And He did.
We reached Disneyland, famously called The Happiest Place on Earth. The laughter, the music, and the magic were unforgettable. Yet in the middle of the fireworks and fairy tales, a deeper truth settled in my heart: the happiest place on earth is not a destination; it is wherever God walks with us.
True joy is found not in castles, but in Christ’s presence.
And this verse from Joshua 1:9 will always remain in my heart:
“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged,
for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
