Jesus has given us a new commandment: “. . . Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.” (John 13:34) and what is a better virtue to show this but in the virtue of Caritas which means Charity.
St. Thomas Aquinas believes that “the habit of charity extends not only to the love of God, but also to the love of our neighbor”, and this is what the Caritas Pillar has been embodying through the various ministries in its wide family.
The Caritas Pillar is the foundation in starting more Feasts and events of the Light of Jesus Family through the funds that they receive, produce, and manage. They are also given the mission to make the Feast self-sufficient and also be able to support other ministries by encouraging more attendees to give back faithfully to God.
We encourage you to join and be part of any of the Ministries of Caritas Pillar. You may approach and look for Bro. Ramon Gonzales, Caritas Pillar Head.

Leaders in Faithful Tithing (LIFT)
God has allowed us to challenge Him through these words: “Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house. Test Me in this . . . and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.” (Malachi 3:10)
The Leaders in Faithful Tithing (LIFT) are those who committed themselves to give their tithe which is 10% of their income every month as thanksgiving for the blessings God has been giving them. God has never failed in His promise of abundance in all areas of life through the commitment of these people.
The head of LIFT will be responsible for recording and monitoring the tithes. He/She also informs the LIFT members through text and email before the LIFT gathering.
The Food Ministry serves by preparing the snacks and drinks for the attendees and servants of the Feast.
They fulfill the teaching of feeding the hungry and giving a drink to the thirsty. As Jesus said, “. . .Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” (Matthew 25:40)
