๐ต๐ฆ ๐ธ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ข๐๐๐
Last May, I attended an all-women retreat in Tagaytay City called Women of Worth (WOW). One of the messages that really struck a chord with me was the reminder to recognize what I truly want and to gracefully accept compliments from others.
Isa talaga โyan sa eme nating mga kababaihan.
Sometimes, when our self-confidence has taken a beating, or when we’ve consistently put our needs aside to prioritize our families, our sense of self and clarity about what we want becomes blurred.
When people praise us, we feel shy or dismissive. But when weโre not appreciated, we feel overlooked or undervalued.
๐ด๐๐ ๐๐ข๐๐, ๐๐ ๐๐? Weโre often conflicted about what we want and how we feel about ourselves.
Maybe itโs because we’ve gotten so used to the daily grind that we stop seeing anything special in who we are or what we do.
But during that retreat, I felt Godโs embrace. It was a reminder that He created women for a purpose.
As His daughters, we are called to loveโand to know that we deserve to be loved in return, fully and graciously.
Kaya mga sis, bawasan na natin ang eme. Letโs cut the drama and focus on becoming the women God wants us to be.
Letโs go out into the world braver, more confident, and more certain of what we want. Letโs keep the faith that we are worthy of all the beautiful things life has to offerโas beloved daughters of God.
