HEAVEN

I just came back from a warβ€”a β€œπ‘‘π‘–π‘π‘˜π‘’π‘‘ π‘€π‘Žπ‘Ÿ.”

From June 9 to 11, 2026, thousands of Filipino ARMYs (fans of BTS, the world-renowned K-Pop group) were glued to their gadgets, battling for seats at the much-awaited Bulacan concert in March 2027. Over 500,000 fans joined the queues across three days, all fighting for only about 80,000 seats. The mismatch between demand and supply turned the process into a β€œticket war.”

But it wasn’t the three-day battle itself that made me cry. Unlike other concerts, this one demanded weeks of preparationβ€”logging in, registering on multiple sites, rehearsing. Yet one wrong move cost me dearly: I followed an incorrect instruction on social media, missing the chance to pre-register on Day 1β€”the β€œeasiest” day to secure a ticket.

This made me reflect on a more serious battleβ€”the lifelong struggle to be with the Lord when we die. Each day is a battlefield, not against one another, but within ourselves: choosing good over evil. In this age of social media, opinions are loud and influence constant. Sometimes we help each other do good, but sometimes we unintentionally lead ourselves astray.

That is why vigilance is essential. We must learn, confess, and pray. Unlike the ticket war, heaven has no limited seats. The cost of entry has already been paidβ€”through the body and blood of Jesus.
