ENTITLED KA BA?

Minsan, ‘di natin namamalayanโ€”entitled na pala tayo.

Feeling natin, dahil mabait tayo, dapat suklian ng kabutihan. Dahil nagtrabaho tayo ng sobra, dapat tayong bigyan ng special recognition. Dahil tumulong tayo dati, may utang na loob na dapat ibalik.

We begin to expect applause for simply doing what’s right. We demand loyalty, praise, and appreciationโ€”not because we earned it, but because we think we deserve it.

Entitlement quietly poisons the heart. It makes us compare, resent, and feel kulang kahit sapat na.

At kapag hindi natin nakuha, we feel disrespected or unappreciated.

Pero ang totoo, no one owes us anything. Respect is earned, not demanded. Privileges are not rights. Love, kindness, and appreciationโ€”these are gifts, not payments.

Jesus teaches us to embrace gratitude over entitlement.

1 Corinthians 4:7 reminds us:

Everything is grace from God.

And we donโ€™t have to chase validation. Whether we’re seen or remain in the background, our worth in Godโ€™s eyes stays the same.

Our light doesnโ€™t need to shine all the timeโ€”only when it matters most. And in those moments, our presence will always make a difference.
