𝘉𝘺 𝘒𝘶𝘺𝘢 𝘋𝘢𝘯
Isang umaga, ako’y nagmumuni-muni. Sabi ko sa sarili ko, matanda na ako. Para bang malapit na ako sa huling yugto ng buhay ko.
At this point, parang hindi na relevant sa akin ang mga New Year’s resolutions. Paulit-ulit na lang: exercise more, pray more, be better. Magaganda ang intentions, pero aminado ako—madalas hindi rin nagtatagal.
What I need now is not a New Year’s resolution, but a New Year’s revolution.
Ang resolution, tungkol sa what I want to change. Ang revolution, tungkol sa how I see life—and how I let God change me.
Sabi nga sa Romans 12:2, “Be transformed by the renewal of your mind.”
Si Jesus hindi nagsimula sa behavior change. Nagsimula Siya sa puso—repentance, pagbabago ng isip at direksyon.
Sa edad ko ngayon, hindi na mas malakas na effort ang kailangan, kundi mas malalim na surrender. Hindi na control, kundi tiwala. Hindi na self-reliance, kundi grace.
So, this New Year, ang revolution ko ay simple lang: to love more, forgive faster, trust God deeper, and live whatever days remain with wisdom.
Hindi na ito about starting over. It’s about going deeper. At para sa akin, iyon ang tunay na New Year’s revolution.
