INCOGNITO

𝐛𝐲 𝐋𝐲𝐫𝐚 𝐋𝐢𝐦-𝐈𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐨𝐫𝐨

God has many names in the Bible.

𝐽𝑒ℎ𝑜𝑣𝑎ℎ 𝐽𝑖𝑟𝑒ℎ means the God who provides. 𝐽𝑒ℎ𝑜𝑣𝑎ℎ 𝑅𝑎𝑝ℎ𝑎 means the God who heals.

One of my personal favorites is 𝐸𝑙 𝑅𝑜𝑖—the God who sees.

At the Feast, I see God in the many faces of our co-servants. I serve in the worship team, and I usually arrive at the venue for soundcheck a couple of hours before our service starts. Not many people see what people do right before the session.

Our intercessory ministry arrives early to pray in our vigil room. They also lay their hands and pray over every seat of the congregation. After the session, they would also be the last ones to leave because they would still collect all the love offering envelopes and pray for the written prayer intentions throughout the week.

Our production team, who works behind the scenes, normally wears black tops so they can be barely seen by the congregation. They silently work hard so that people on stage would look and sound good for God’s message to be delivered effectively. Yet if they commit a mistake, the entire congregation notices.

These are just some of our servants who work incognito for Jesus to be seen more. In their own eyes, and maybe in the eyes of men, they feel that what they do is only a tiny part of the equation. But 𝐸𝑙 𝑅𝑜𝑖 sees and takes delight in every effort for His Kingdom.

Friend, God does not only see what you do. He also sees your pain and what you are going through. So just be vulnerable in His presence because nothing can be hidden from Him.
