DROP THE BAGGAGE

Lately I’ve been dealing with sadness caused by worries and pain coming from different angles of my life. I thought that perhaps, it could be the same kind of emotional chaos that spins into depression when left unchecked, like how other people I talk to experience.

For my own sanity’s sake, I decided to break down and list where my sadness and anxiousness could be reeling from:

1. Misunderstanding that often leads to conflicts
2. Lack of appreciation from others
3. Unresolved conflicts
4. Ignoring personal boundaries that leads to emotional distress
5. Failure to forgive

By doing so, I realized that most of the pain I feel comes from matters that I should face and let go of. I came to understand that God’s blessings of happiness and peace may not always seem obvious, but the choice to experience them has always rest in our hands.

Often, our burdens are meant to simply pass us by, much like the changing seasons. What matters most is allowing God’s presence to fill our lives, making our journey lighter and transforming our pain from a personal weight into a spiritual process.

As Matthew 11:28 reminds us: “πΆπ‘œπ‘šπ‘’ π‘‘π‘œ π‘šπ‘’, π‘Žπ‘™π‘™ π‘¦π‘œπ‘’ π‘€β„Žπ‘œ π‘Žπ‘Ÿπ‘’ π‘€π‘’π‘Žπ‘Ÿπ‘¦ π‘Žπ‘›π‘‘ π‘π‘’π‘Ÿπ‘‘π‘’π‘›π‘’π‘‘, π‘Žπ‘›π‘‘ 𝐼 𝑀𝑖𝑙𝑙 𝑔𝑖𝑣𝑒 π‘¦π‘œπ‘’ π‘Ÿπ‘’π‘ π‘‘.”
