I love the last line of our Novena To God’s love, where we say “and because I am blessed I am blessing the world.” Every time we pray that at the opening part of the Feast, I tell myself someday this will come true, that as the Lord blesses me, I will bless others. That was my prayer within the prayer.
Two weeks ago, I received a message from a friend who was referring me to be the speaker at a company’s sales kick-off. That’s when I told myself maybe it’s time for me to get a project coordinator for this event, especially since the company we will be handling is a huge one with several branches across Luzon, and I was asked to give a talk to each of those branches. Part of the project was also to get a tech guy who would handle the tech side of my presentation, and with the last leg to the sales kick-off in Cabanatuan, Nueva Ecija, I also hired a part-time driver just for the trip.
All in all, I hired 3 project-based employees, all of whom are fellow feasters. As I was giving out their respective share of the project, that’s when it dawned on me. This is what I have always been praying for, “and because I am blessed, I am blessing the world.” That the blessing I received overflows to the people that surrounds me.
For today, I pray that the blessings you receive trickle down to the people around you, and they will know that God is alive through these blessings.
