βWhen God closes a door, He opens a windowβ
I would often joke about this quote βπΎππππ βππππ ππ πππ‘πππππ π π π‘ππππβπ πππ πππ¦ππ‘ ππβππ¦ ππ ππ ππππ.β But on a serious note, when a door closes most of the time it is hard to accept.
I have this personal project that I have been working on for almost two years now. Last December, the project was slowly closing its door, but I gave it my best, hoping that it would turn out well before the year ended. There was no progress, and it overspilled to 2026. As the year started, I was hopeful that things wouldl take a positive turn. Unfortunately, it did not, and the door was slammed in my face at the first work week of the year.
For several days, I was thinking of so many What Ifβs regarding this project. I was like staring at a closed door and hoping it would open. But somehow it would not. Until Lyra and I attended the builderβs retreat, and that is where God revealed to me His message.
βStop staring at the closed door, you might miss the ones that are open.β
Somehow, it reminded me of the paralyzed man in the pool of Bethesda. For him, the pool was the door. He was too obsessed with going to the pool. But every time someone beats him to the pool, he feels it is another closed door. And he was obsessed with the door that he almost the open one and it was Jesus standing in front of him.
Stop staring at the closed door. The Lord is opening a new one for you.
