As part of my healing project, I started doing πππππ‘πππ π€ππ‘β ππ’πππππ βkits with outlined pictures and numbered spaces for each color. I used them to ease overthinking, relax, and find a sense of accomplishment.
I thought it would be easy, but it wasnβt. Painting within the lines was harder than I expectedβthe brush slipped, the numbers were tiny, and the paint dried too fast.
Yet as I filled each space, the picture slowly came to life. Seeing the finished artworkβand knowing I made it to share with friendsβmade it all the more meaningful.
In the same way, God calls us to βpaint with numbersβ in our faith journey. Life often feels like we are following a divine outlineβone that we do not always understand. There are times when the spaces feel too small, the colors too limited, or the instructions too unclear. We also smudge and create mistakes, but that is part of the learning. We just do better next time.
When we look back on our journey, we will see that each numbered section, each small act of faith and perseverance, was necessary to reveal the masterpiece that God was creating through us. The picture was never random. The design was divine.
