NOT-SO-MERRY CHRISTMAS

I didn’t feel like writing for today’s GOTO (God Of The Ordinary) somehow, Christmas gives me mixed emotions of being happy to see family and friends and missing those who are no longer there.

I remember our first Christmas without my dad more than 3 decades ago and how the line to the song β€œAll I want to see standing by my Christmas tree… is you.” really hits hard.

So to everyone who is grieving this Christmas, no need to feel bad that you can’t celebrate Jesus’ Birthday the way you used to. He understands.

On Christmas Day, may His presence give you the comfort that you need.
