𝘉𝘺 𝘒𝘶𝘺𝘢 𝘋𝘢𝘯
About three years ago, my employees in STRATNET gave me an appreciation award. STRATNET—the company that we formed almost 25 years ago. A symbol of hard work, shared dreams, and years of journeying together. Pero to be honest, noong unang natanggap ko yung plaque… hindi ko masyadong binigyan ng pansin. Parang “thank you” lang, tapos tinabi ko na.
Life went on… When my mother passed away, I found myself quietly fixing my room—maybe to make the space lighter, maybe to help my heart breathe again. Habang inaayos ko ang mga gamit, nakita ko ulit yung plaque. I wiped the dust, placed it on the wall, and stepped back.
And suddenly… it looked beautiful. Sobrang ganda pala. At sobrang totoo nung pinanggalingan ng award—effort, sincerity, at pagmamahal ng mga tao ko.
Na-teary eyed ako. Parang doon ko lang talaga nakita ang halaga. At doon pumasok ang realization na tumama sa puso ko: Minsan ganyan din tayo kay Lord.
May mga bagay Siyang ibinibigay—blessings, opportunities, even people—but we don’t appreciate them at once. Minsan hindi natin naiintindihan, o feeling natin hindi naman importante. Kaya tinatabi lang natin sa sulok ng buhay natin.
Pero darating ang panahon… sa oras na mas kailangan natin, sa moment na mas bukas na ang puso natin, doon natin mararamdaman ang bigat, ang halaga, at ang kagandahan ng regalo Niya.
Lord, ang galing Mo talaga. You give us what we need even before we know we’ll need it. You plant seeds in our lives long before we’re ready to see the fruit. At kapag dumating yung moment na nagising ang puso natin, we look back and say:
“Grabe, binigay Mo na pala sa akin noon pa. Hindi ko lang napansin.”
Kaya ngayon, I look at that plaque—simple, wooden, sincere—and I see more than an award. I see God’s reminder: Nothing He gives is wasted. Nothing is accidental.
And everything has its time.
“He has made everything beautiful in its time.” – Ecclesiastes 3:11
