May ahas na mukhang isda. At kung titingnan mo ang front view ng isang isda, actually, may pagkakahawig ito sa ahas.
Once, there was a very ambitious man who stormed the heavens for a high-level job promotion believing it was the key to his success and fulfillment. He eventually got the promotion he wanted, but it required him to travel heavily. And the new job brought a lot of stress. His extremely toxic work affected his own family. Years later, his wife left him for another man.
Sad story. But sometimes, we simply don’t know what we’re asking for, or how to handle what we’ve asked for.
In Luke 11, Jesus said, โ๐คโ๐๐โ ๐๐ ๐ฆ๐๐ข ๐๐๐กโ๐๐๐ , ๐๐ ๐ฆ๐๐ข๐ ๐ ๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐ ๐๐๐ โ, ๐ค๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ฃ๐ โ๐๐ ๐ ๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐ก๐๐๐?”
May mga pagkakataon kasing mukhang isda. Pero ahas pala. Bagay na makakasama sa atin.
Sinagot mo sya, kasi pogi (๐๐ ๐๐). Pero hindi mo alam na abusive sya sa mga dating naka- relasyon nya (๐โ๐๐ ).
We pray from a position of limited understanding of the outcome. We only see the present moment or the immediate need.
Discern carefully. Align your choices with your long-term goals and values.
God’s plan is what we ultimately want. We can trust that whatever He provides (or withholds), it is ultimately for our good.
