I usually prepare what I preach, even the prayers that I say, so that I donโt get lost when emotions get high and I am on the stage.
But last week was different; there was a leading from the Holy Spirit for me to say something not on my prompter. It didnโt even cross my mind when I was preparing the talk, but I when I was about to close my talk after sharing my final story, there was a strong urge.
And so, with my voice cracking, I said it.
โTo all the servants here at the Feast, maybe I havenโt thanked you enough. Your Father sees you.โ
A few days later, I was talking to a co-servant, and she started telling me and Lyra her current situation. She was having relationship problems, her business was down for the last two months, and the situation was taking its toll on her mental health.
She did not feel like going to the Feast last Wednesday, but she mustered all her strength to go. So when she heard me say, โYour Father sees you.โ She burst into tears, knowing very well that it was God speaking to her. Thatโs when I told her, it was not part of my original plan to say that, but somewhere along the way, I felt the Lord telling me to do it.
If you feel God is telling you to say something nice to someone, do it. It could spell a big difference in that personโs life.
