I was in a grocery store one Saturday, feeling a bit low. I went out of the house to get a breath of fresh air.
As I was nearing the counter, a mother with playful kids, holding on to grocery items, was a bit confused about which counter to choose.
I had a few items in my basket as well, but I was moved to give way to that mother. She was so thankful for the simple gesture.
I told her, ” πΌ ππ πππ¦πππ ππ‘ ππππ€πππ.
We live in a world filled with pain, anxiety, and uncertainty. We might be dealing with different situations and struggles in life, yet even with problems on our shoulders, there are still opportunities to cheer up somebody, any day.
A stranger might need a seat on a bus, or an elderly person needing help to open the door in a convenience store; a tap on the shoulder of our co-workers; pasalubong na siopao to our siblings and family members. It doesn’t have to be grand. A simple, kind, and thoughtful gesture could make someone’s day a bit better.
Letβs be a beacon of hope for others who may have lost their ability to see goodness amid chaos and darkness.
